HEADSPIN is a four-piece indie rock band hailing from Boorloo/Perth. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist, Simon Hughes, bassist, Gus Howell, lead guitarist, George Harley, and drummer, Cactus Jack. With influences from the likes of The Strokes, the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Gorillaz, HEADSPIN’s sound is characterised by catchy hooks, infectious melodies, and high-energy performances.

Formed in May 2022, HEADSPIN has already released their highly anticipated debut single, “these days”, available on streaming platforms. Recorded in their garage and mix/mastered by renowned local producer, Sam Ford, the track showcases the band’s signature sound while delving into themes of rejection, loss of identity and ultimately healing, all masked with a catchy upbeat rhythm and hook.
